Retracting Conveyor

SMO has developed a tailor-made retracting conveyor for Willems Biscuits from Eeklo.

This retracting conveyor is the link between the oven and packaging line. If the cookies from the oven do not need to be packaged, this belt can be manually rectracted (shortened), so the cookies are disposed. The tiny transitions between the nose bars ensure that the cookies are not damaged in the process. The set-up is equipped with a PU belt resistant to high temperatures and 2 scrapers. One nose bar roller can tilt to clean the belt.
