Airplane cradles

SMO developed and produced custom airplane cradles for Aerocircular. The cradles are used to move aircrafts without landing gear during the recycling process to the diamond wire saw that SMO designed for Hilti.

During the aircraft recycling process, the aircrafts are dismantled and sawn into various reusable parts. After removing the landing gear, it is no longer possible to tansport the aircraft to the Hilti wire saw. To solve this problem, SMO developed and produced tailor-made airplane cradles. The cradles can each individually carry a load of up to 15.000 kg.
