Screening installation

For Pandrol, we made a custom made FleXiever – mobile screening solutions from Belgium screening installation. The installation consists of a 3.5m³ (15t) hopper, an 8m supply conveyor, a FleXiever Mini Screener and an 11m discharge conveyor.

The Mini Screener screens iron oxide that serves as a raw material for the production of thermite. The hopper and conveyors are monitored by sensors to control the direct supply into the blast furnace.

The final product is used for thermite welding of rail tracks.
