Melting kettles

SMO developed and produced two melt kettles for Umicore. The kettles are used to burn fire, on top of the boilers there is a platform (also developed and produced by SMO) where a kettle with lead is placed. This way, the lead in the upper boiler is melted by the fire in the large lower boiler. The melting kettles have a height of 3.8 meters and a diameter of 5.6 meters.
